Mandy Cooley is a career management expert who helps professionals intentionally direct their career paths while honoring their lives’ priorities. She writes, speaks and coaches on topics related to discovering a Deliberate Career tm, creating and maintaining a professional brand, and navigating the 21st Century job market.
Deliberate Direction, offers programs to professionals in all seasons of their career paths and job searches and was created when Mandy realized that the direction she was facing was not so deliberate at all. (Click here to read a bit more about that journey.)
With a background in education, management, leadership, coaching, and human resources, Mandy formed a program, known as Deliberate Careers, for those who don’t yet know what they want to be when they grow up. This program incorporates a deeper look at the duty, design, development and domain of a person that ultimately points toward an innate career path.
As a natural follow-up to the Deliberate Careers program, Deliberate Search was created to assist and support job seekers in three key areas of job seeking: strategy, personal branding, and accountability.

Mandy,
Thanks for speaking with us today at lunch. I am part of Andy’s Work Matters group. I was the one who was sitting in his car. I Googled my name. No one interesting turned up. Maybe that’s good. I am starting my branding with a clean slate.
My production facility is closing in mid 2010. I would like to start with a skills assessment then target my future opportunities. I would like to talk to you for a few minutes to get off on the right foot.
Thanks,
John E. Olt
